"me with the new car" / mixed medi on canvas / 50cmx70cm , 2021 / In Covid times, I rediscovered photos of my family of origin; on this basis, I created a series of smaller and larger works. The series captures the essence of a carefree childhood and takes us back to a time when life was simple and full of joy. Childhood photos and memories bring to life moments that reflect the carefree days of our youth - on the one hand, nostalgic flashbacks to an intact, innocent world full of adventure and discovery, security and happiness and, on the other, an anchor point that provides stability in a world of polycrises and uncertainty.
